Mahmoud Abbas Seeks Backing Through Prayer!

Hilarious…

Via KABOBfest:

I’m not sure if our friends at Al Jazeera are incredibly funny, or coincidence often works their way. This photo is from an Al Jazeera article that discusses Abbas’s efforts to secure financial backing for the Palestinian Authority now that the US and EU chose to discontinue their aid. What’s funny about this, is that the photo was taken during a prayer, and the caption reads: “Mahmoud Abbas seeks to secure financial backing for the cash-strapped Palestinian Authority.”

Perhaps it is true, and prayer is the best Abbas can do with the US sending its foreign affairs team around the world to advocate Israel’s stance on Hamas and the Palestinians. But the happy thought is, if prayer is the way to do it, then we’re all set with Hamas taking charge. But from experience, an old friend of mine used it as a method of birth control, and to say the least, she’s not a person of faith any more.

I think Hamas is going to set a sustainable financial strategy rather than keep begging.
