i used to have the problem of finding what to wear as hijab clothes..however alhamdulilah im finding it much easier now, basically its all about experimenting, trying out styles and finding what suits u... most of my clothes consists of combining short dresses (to the knee) with my favourite pair of jeans (different colours and styles for different occasions) and wearing a long sleeve top underneath, its the fashion nowadays anyway and im sure they have those in arabic countries, but i know it may be harder over there..but when i went to lebanon and jordan they had alot of cute dresses!! u can match them up with accesories, high heels when u go out or wear them with flat shoes if u need to walk more... basically i love wearing hijab and many of my friends have now decided to wear it too because they see how decent and beautiful it looks, i dont let it stop me from living mylife, im highly active and sociable and im loving it, if anyone needs any help or needs to ask any questions about this feel free to email me on ladee_dana@hotmail.com
p.s all you mu7ajabaat out there, much respect to u girls, may allah grant u all paradise because it aint easy being a mu7ajaba!

Ramroom, Reem, rebecca there's a club for pissed off decent women and I wasn't invited? :-D

Hani, I did try 3abaya, it's just not my style, besides, I can't wear black everyday! good luck to your fiance :-)

Kinzi, I thought and still thinking of designing my own clothes but that needs lots of free time. I will check with Tololy when I go to Jordan, thanks for the advice.

nermeen, lol I also tried jilbab, couldn't imagine myself wearing it for the rest of my life. But maybe one day, who knows.

I will add my voice to the moaning. SC, maybe you have a future as a clothing designer?

One thing i have really liked is the 3/4 length sleeves button up blouse and stretchy fabric that moves with you. I just buy the clothes a couple sizes bigger.

You should check with Tololy...she has great taste and is very fashionable without looking like a carbon copy of Mecca Mall mini-divas
