Is it just me or does everyone feel rushed and robbed of time every time we’re told to forward our clocks and watches one hour?
I haven’t adapted yet to the new timing. I feel like the day ends quickly. but even more interestingly, I’ve been debating the whole matter which might, knowing myself, result in some weird questions and even weirder answers to them.
First of all, why do we forward our watches and not just wake up one hour earlier instead? why do we lie to ourselves? if it’s in fact to save energy, don’t you think that we can do a better job by being careful all the time?
Besides, it really makes no sense to go backward again a few months from now! what’s the deal with that?! so we adjust ourselves and supposedly save energy by doing so, and just when we’ve finally gotten used to the cold mornings, you ask us to adjust the time backward!
Now the big question is, where does every hour go? one hour is virtually eliminated because I adjusted my watch and added an hour to my day. So where does it go?
And in winter, I’m supposed to just waste an hour of my time because I-don’t-know-who decided that I should get an extra hour that I don’t even know where it came from.
Don’t tell me it’s the same hour; you don’t know that.
Bottom line, it’s confusing and I don’t like it.

I like Winter’s time. It’s easy, time flies fast and the days end faster. But in Summer, I hate everything about it.
