if i knew i was going to heaven id kill myself .. why wait right?
This is a unique post.
I could not stop thinking since I read it.
I think there is 2 or should I say many folds to it.
1st one on a personal level when Aysha RAA the wife of the prophet PBUH asked him about his long nights praying when he knew that he is going to Heaven? He replied should I be a thankful servant.
2nd fold, is that possible?
Yes it is but it requires people just like the prophet who will live up to the reward, not change to criminals, like what happened in California during the earthquack.
3rd fold it will at least help you stop worrying.
4th fold is the problem in life because we do not know if we are going to heavens or not, or because we question the hear after.
inifinty fold, thanks for such a mind opening question
I’ll keep on living the same.
depends on the person and his religious/ethical views, some would start living without any guidance and will start doing whatever they want without worrying about heaven/hell since they’re already going there, some would keep on living life the way they are because they do the things they do not because of wanting heaven and fearing hell as much as it’s a way to grant them inner peace and finding the heaven inside of them. come to think of it, you can look at the attitude of “al mobashareen bel janneh” back in the days of islam and you’ll see that most of all (if not all) kept on living life the exact same way
mo, are you trying to say that there’s nothing worth living for?
If I knew I am going to heaven when I die, I won’t live my life the same. I’ll do more of good work and be close to Allah, thanking the mighty God for this.
and I’ll do my best to let the others do as well, coz aren’t we all going to heaven! shouldn’t we all be thankful and greatful !
It’s a very important question, even though the answer is unknown, we all should be a better person.
I like what Sammy’s post
very great answer
Muhammad pace upon him was a very thankful even he know he will go to heaven and he is the one who god will forgive him whatever he do he still praying and asking god to forgive him all the nights !
this is a very good question with a good answer from Sammy
thank u all
about me I hope that I can be like our prophet,I will try my best to be thankful
Well.. right now I do whatever I want to do, not that all I’m doing is bad or would be sent to hell for, but still!
Anyway, I don’t think that my life style would change.. I might try more dangerous sports, that’s it!
i am agnostic!
agnostic, what if you knew that there is heaven and hell in the afterlife (also if you knew that there’s an afterlife), how would you live your life?
