I’ve been writing Arabic prose for nearly 5 years (intermittently). I’ve always kept my writings private since I often expressed private emotions using untraditional symbols and metaphors so I didn’t think people would understand, let alone enjoy my prose. Well, my writing style has slightly changed and it’s now easier to understand ![]()
I want to thank my dear friend for his encouragement and support and for urging me to share what I write with more people.
This is something I wrote last week.
By no means do I call myself a poet or anything like it by the way, and I’m not even trying to be one but constructive criticism is of course very welcome!

I’m not a good critic so don’t expect any critique from me, but I just want to say that I also like the Arabic language, though not to the degree that I ever wrote anything in Arabic like that.
My Arabic vocabulary has gotten weaker since high school, most of the stuff I read or listened to has been in English, and my daily interactions have been mostly in English as well.
The only thing left of my Arabic is the grammar, which is still very solid.
wow, I didn’t know you have this blog! I will read it and see…sounds interesting from the first look, because I like Arabic writings..
