Pearl Jam and Jordanian Musicians

17Jun08

There’s a time and place for this kind of talk, right?” Eddie Vedder said to the tens of thousands watching Pearl Jam perform their scintillating headlining set Saturday. “It is welded into the Constitution that people have not only the right, but the responsibility to make change. It can’t get any worse. We’re right here in the middle of America. We can change the whole world. Do you agree that this is the time and place for this kind of talk? (Source)

I wish Jordanian Musicians would dedicate a minute every time they’re on the stage to talk about an important issue. Music is such a powerful way to send a message!
