A year has passed but not much changed in this world since then, we still use normal cars and eat real food, well semi-real now that junk food comes to mind. The wars that have been started years ago are still not over.
On the personal level, I have achieved some of my last year’s ambitions. I have found a job, saved some money, moved to Jordan and started a masters program. But I haven’t learned deaf language yet neither could I sponsor an orphan. Which is sad but I suppose that was too much to achieve in one year.
This year I will not set goals, because my disappointment will be only greater if another year passes without achieving them.
But I have hopes. Besides world peace (insert a sarcastic laugh here), I hope to start a career in marketing and I hope to be able to do charity and volunteer in social work.
Hope this year will bring you happiness, success and prosperity.
