3- After graduating from college, she gets hired pretty quickly
4- As if having a job is not enough to keep her busy, she says she wants to pursue higher education, not just Masters but also PHD, and she might even consider double majors

LOOL I can relate to most of those, except that when people talk to me bout marriage I go phlosphical and start rambling on and on about the responsiblity and mental and pyscological preparedness and how you should take your time and think and my other plans in life and and and
You know the other day my cousin told me something wise, she said: Ola, seems like we two will end up as two old maids clapping and rejoycing in otehr people’s weddings, with a special haircut to make us feel young
Haha, great news, I will never get married!
Marriage is overrated anyway!
Marriage is great, when you have a husband who cheers you on in all those catagories. Hang in there, Shaden! LOL!
ok what about the Top Ten Signs Your “SON” is not Getting Married Any Time Soon ??
thats what i wana know
Loooooooooooooool
Thats NEVER for me too
Shaden, how many of those apply to you?
Perhaps you should change the title of your post to “Top Ten Signs Your Daughter is not Getting Married to an Arab Any Time Soon”. In the West, most of these are pretty common and even sought after (except the non-cooking, which is generally solved with excessive amounts of fast food).
I profoundly disagree
I’ve seen girls not getting married merely because they’re not beautiful enough, or 3agelhom z’3eer!
bl 3aks, Jordanian guys prefere girls with jobs who can make money!
Ola, me and you should sit and promise each other we’ll just pick someone when we reach 25-27, because I honestly don’t like weddings that much
Roba, what was your score? mine is 10/10
Qwaider, actually most of the time it’s underrated
Kinzi, as a matter of fact, I’ll either marry someone who supports and cheers me in all that or remain single. Men are so overrated don’t you think?
seriously, a woman needs a friend, a partner not just a man.
7usam, you should write that!
Life, do you imply that you’re cursed or witched when your mother talks to you about marriage?
Dave, lol yea I guess the title you’ve suggested is more accurate. All of them apply to me.
Abed, yes most of Jordanian men want a working woman but only if she can work in a non-mixed environment, as a teacher for example
although everything you mentioned describes what men should look for (except for the cooking part :|)
it’s funny because it’s true!
ma 3ajbatni elshagleh at all!!!!!!!!!!
I possess 8 out of 10 of those. I don’t qualify under 9-I’m not a feminist and number 8 because I definately think money is an issue when it comes to marriage-if a guy doesn’t have money I’m going to be wondering why.
