Its very interesting and eyebrow-raising to see that only 25 out of at least 350 active Jordanian bloggers has signed the online petition asking for a ban on smoking in public places which was started by Philip (El3atel). I hope that many didn’t know about the petition or couldn’t find the time to sign it, or even just didn’t feel like it or forgot about it. Because otherwise, I find this rather disappointing, not just because 25 out of 350 bloggers is a small number (and lets forget about readers for a moment here), but also because the majority of these bloggers are supposed to be educated young people aged 20-35.
