Documentary Film Workshop for Beginners

The Royal Film Commission- Jordan is pleased to announce the upcoming Documentary Film Workshop instructed by established faculty members of the University Of Southern California, School Of Cinematic Arts in LA (USC).

The two-session workshop aims to assist a group of emerging filmmakers (14 participants) with an understanding of the arts and practice of Documentary Film. This will help them find their own voices as Documentary filmmakers, through a hands-on program.

During the first session, participants will join classes on documentary film, storytelling and receive technical training on camera and editing.

Instructors will assist participants in-between the two sessions. By late January, participants would have finished shooting their project. Instructors will assist in the final stages of the project.

Application deadline: October 5th, 2008.
