This is a sad post Shaden. The IAF is the most credible player on the political scene in Jordan and when they boycott the elections it does undermine the credibility of the political process. There is proof of vote rigging that was never dealt with. so what’s the point of elections in Jordan if all we are going to do is imitate Syria and Belarus. And I am sure Uncle Sam is snickering backstage. If you only knew the magnitude of this setback and the devastating impact it will have on young jordanians who may turn to non orthodox means to change the system when they abandon hope in making a difference the proper way. This is a very dangerous development in the long run.

Credible? Like when they said the government was lying about the Hamas terror plot? And later Misha’al conceded it was real. You are free to believe them if you want, but they are not credible, especially since they have a vested interest in claiming there was fraud.

If they have any real evidence, they should take it to court. I doubt that we will see that, though.

“And later Misha’al conceded it was real. ”

you can’t even tell the truth. meshal admitted to weapons smuggling, to make its way to palestine.

I do believe the islamists, even as I reject their ideology. I believe anyone the US and its low-life puppets hate. They are not hated for no reason. they care about Jordan and the poor. And that alone makes them a threat to those who don’t give a damn about anything but their tribal interests and wallets.

fact is, in the arab world today and the muslim world, the islamists are the most progressive, pro-democratic, when compared to the retarded neo-liberals who are today made up of x-commies and x-nationalists. deeply corrupt people whose “pragmatism” and “moderation” frees them from any commitments to the core issues that matter to all Arabs such as anti-imperialism, anti-corruption, and democracy. they are in fact are anti-democracy, unless it brings people like them, they are friendly to imperialism, so long as it feeds them jobs, contracts, and scholarships, and they are corrupt beyond redemption. And with the latest wave of attack against the islamists, I despise neo-liberals more than ever. they are sick breed of Arabs, not unlike Vichy’s French. these neo-libs pose a clear and present danger to arab progress and i hope someone deals with them.

It seems that you confuse throwing insults and meaningless slogans with intelligent debate. Too bad for you.
