Yes! I got my first Eideyyeh today, from my uncle, 10 JDs. A dear diary moment ladies and gentlemen.

The last time someone gave me money in Eid was at least 10 years ago. But it’s not cool anymore, maybe because it’s just 10 JDs?! it’s gotta be at least 100 JDs now and in this age, or maybe if he bought me candies with my Eideyyeh I think I would’ve liked it better.

It’s the thought that counts
Imagine he got you 10 JDs worth of the chocolate you love most, or a 10 JD book or something.. With money, you can buy what ever you want, and it spares your uncle from rubbing his head too much trying to figure out what to get you..

I don’t know why people consider getting/giving money heartless, it’s all good
