Macadi Nahhas @ Ras Al-Ain

25Jun07

The idea of playing in the outdoors was good, in terms of not having to pay for tickets or to physically reserve seats. I have to say though that I’m not a fan of her or her music. She definitely has a good voice, but I wasn’t impressed at all. I know that more than half this country is fascinated by her voice and performance so it must be my ears.

But I really appreciated that she gave people who can’t afford a pricey entrance to concerts and the cluster-phobic/can’t sit for a long time/hate theaters/can’t go farther than that the chance to hear her and enjoy a musical evening in the open air.
