People listen to radio shows where a supposedly “Sheikh” (Muslim scholar) lectures “true Muslims” on how to effectively use their time saying (about an unspecified task): “maybe your wife can do that, or maybe your child can do it! if so; let them do it! Don’t waste your time on a task someone beneath you can do”

Qwaider, it was never mentioned! the bottom line was, if any task could be delegated to those beneath you, delegate and save yourself for more important tasks. And I got the idea that he was talking about everyday tasks, you know maybe cleaning the house, sewing buttons, maybe paying bills…

Maybe it’s kinda like Christian pastors on radio and TV. I begin to doubt them if on radio, as I don’t think the ego can handle it. If they are on TV, with all the fancy suits and make-up and bad hair, I know not to listen. :S

every time i try explaining how Islam justifies women, a westerner pops out a youTube about one of those sheikh’s saying really horrible stuff,
for example one sheikh on a very famous tv channel says the reason why Islam gives “men” the power of divorce is coz they “women” are 1/2 smart ???????????????????????????
