Sohaib Thiab and Hussam Hammo are young, intelligent, creative and most importantly winners of the 1st place in Queen Rania National Entrepreneurship Competition for their business idea of Faye3.

“faye3 is an Arabic word (a bit Jordanian) which is called to someone who is “cool”. Registration will be open for some time on the website before we turn the website to be invitation based, so register an account now! “, says Sohaib.

Faye3 is still in beta, however, it’s worth checking out even at this stage!

Shaden, there’s something wrong with the link… But I managed to check it out. Looks promising..

But apart from that, how is this different than what Jeeran are doing? Or the rest of the social networks out there (myspace, hi5, facebook, naseeb, Arab lounge and a many others)

Don’t get me wrong, I wish them all the luck and I hope they will succeed and prosper. But claiming to be the first Arabic Social Network is …. well … inaccurate to say the least

Thank you shaden for the review, very much appreciated.

Thank you Qwaider for your questions as well, I checked out the websites you mentioned (besides facebook, hi5, myspace since they arent Arabic) naseeb and Arab lounge are more of dating websites and most importantly they are in English, we are expecting to launch our Arabic interface in the upcoming week, as for Jeeran, you are correct, they are transforming to a social network, however, Jeeran is still the free web hosting provider we’ve all known for the past years, whether they change this perception or not is still a challenge, having said that, I wish everyone the best of luck with their websites.

You can say we are the 1st dedicated Arabic social network, what we offer is social networking, that’s the core of the website and we offer nothing else, having also said that you can expect new features on the website in the upcoming weeks and months, features that are new even on a global scale.

    Hi,

Someone told me about this article and I think that faye3 looks great. Good job on the development and it looks nice too. Jordanians are doing a good job in the Internet space, just yesterday I heard about this new recruitment website called Akhtaboot (www.akhtaboot.com) that has a really new concept of professional networking and looking for jobs.

Good job to all the Jordanians that are conquering the web!!!!

I think facebook.com has at all. I don’t think I’m use another social network. I have a myspace, but facebook is the best. I hardly check my myspace once every month or two..facebook is the best!
