In a new reality show, a woman who’s going to die very soon will have to decide who will receive her kidney when she dies. Three contestants will compete over her kidney fighting for their lives, literally!
When I was a child, I was taught that religions are very different from each other; shameless comparisons were made and repeated over the years claiming that all other religions are just the opposite of everything my religion is. If mine is merciful, then other religions are sadistic. If mine respects women, then other religions enslave and humiliate them. Never understood attempts on superiority by comparison, spreading hatred and brainwashing the young and ignorant.

I consider myself lucky to have been introduced to this Jordanian musical band. Salam and the band are very talented yet down to earth. They are incredibly funny too but that’s another story. Salam performed two original songs this evening at Souk Jara (Directions: Rainbow Street), one in Arabic: “مين” which means “who” and another in English called “don’t blame me” (not sure about the name). While the English song was great, the Arabic one simply rocked! They were asked to repeat it twice. In additon to their original hits, they played awesome music for an hour or so.
Think about it, you’re very sick but you don’t look it, you look perfectly alright and possibly even better than usual. What are the consequences?
“Gods War T-shirts” are designed to spread love instead of war. I’m not sure how though.
It’s been a long time since I had the time to check out “cool Websites” like the Trend Hunter. Today I did, and I found this interesting story about “impressive” job titles that rang a bell the size of Notre-dame’s :
In efforts at retaining employees without forking over hefty raises, some companies are trying to woo their staff by lavishing them with impressive sounding job titles… that in reality mean nothing. Not surprisingly, this isn’t meeting with much success since most employees agree that a fancy-schmancy job title is not enough to make them stay in a job.
